FAQ

How long will my order take?

Every jersey we sell is in stock in Ireland. We dispatch from Limerick within 1–3 working days by An Post, and most Irish orders arrive the next working day after dispatch. You’ll get an email the moment yours is posted.

Can I track my order?

You’ll get an email the moment your order is posted, with a tracking number if it’s going by a tracked service. Not arrived when you expected? Email hello@retrogaa.ie with your order number and we’ll chase it.

What if my parcel doesn’t arrive?

Check for a “Sorry we missed you” card or with a neighbour, then email us with your order number. We’ll chase it with An Post, and if it’s lost we’ll send a replacement or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.

How much is delivery?

€5.95 in Ireland and Northern Ireland, and free when you buy any 2 jerseys (free Irish delivery starts at €80, and two jerseys come to €99.98). Great Britain €9.95, EU €11.95, USA and Canada €16.95, rest of the world €22.95.

When’s the next drop and how do I get it first?

The Mayo jersey is next. We’ll announce the date on TikTok (@retrogaa) and to the waitlist first. Join the Next Drop Waitlist on the homepage and you get early access one hour before everyone else, plus an email 48 hours before and another the moment early access opens. Sold out in your size? Tap “Notify me” on the product page and we’ll email you as soon as it’s back.

Will it arrive before Christmas?

Yes, if you order by the last order date. We’ll put the dates on our Delivery & returns page, and in the banner at the top of the site, by 1 December. Every jersey is in stock in Ireland, so the only wait is An Post. Ordering from outside Ireland? Post takes longer, so the last order dates are earlier.

How do the jerseys fit?

Regular fit. The size guide has a 10-second size finder: enter your chest measurement and it tells you your size. Between sizes? Size up. Swap within 30 days and we post the new size free.

Do you do kids’ sizes?

Not yet: every jersey comes in adult sizes S to 3XL. Email hello@retrogaa.ie if you’d like kids’ sizes and we’ll let you know if they land. Buying for a teenager? Measure a t-shirt that fits them and compare it with the size guide.

How do I wash it?

Turn it inside out and machine wash at 30°. Don’t tumble dry, and don’t iron over the crest or the sponsor. If a print lifts or cracks with normal care, that’s a fault: email us and we’ll put it right.

Can I return or swap a jersey?

Yes, within 30 days of delivery. Try it on at home by all means; just send it back unworn and unwashed, with the tags on. Email hello@retrogaa.ie and we’ll send you the return address. A new size goes out as soon as yours is back, and refunds reach you within 5 working days. Return postage is yours, unless it’s faulty or our mistake. Full details: Returns & refunds.

What if it arrives faulty, or you send the wrong one?

Email us (a photo helps) and we’ll put it right. We cover the postage back and replace or refund it, whichever you prefer. If we sent the wrong jersey, the right one goes out straight away if it’s in stock. Your rights for faulty goods last well beyond 30 days.

Buying it as a present? What if it doesn’t fit?

No bother. They can swap the size within 30 days of delivery: just email us with the order number or the buyer’s name. Any refund goes back to whoever paid.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, if it hasn’t been posted yet. Email hello@retrogaa.ie as soon as you can and we’ll change the size (if it’s in stock) or the delivery address (within the same country), or cancel and refund it in full. Already posted? You can still return or swap it within 30 days of delivery.

Can I add a name and number?

Not at the moment. Every jersey comes as the original, with no name or number added.

Are these official jerseys?

They’re faithful remakes of the classic jerseys, not original vintage stock. Same look and feel, new jersey.

Are you actually based in Ireland?

Yes. Retro GAA is run from Limerick, and every jersey is in stock here and posted by An Post from Limerick, never shipped from overseas. Our address is on the Contact page, and every email to hello@retrogaa.ie gets a reply from Kaden within one working day.

How do I pay?

Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Checkout is secure and we never see your card details.

Do you ship outside Ireland?

Yes: to Great Britain, Europe, the US, Canada, Australia and beyond. Handy if you’re abroad and missing home. Delivery costs are on our Delivery & returns page.

Will I have to pay customs or import charges?

Not in Ireland, Northern Ireland or the rest of the EU: it’s posted from Limerick, so there’s nothing extra to pay. Outside the EU, including Great Britain, you may have to pay import tax, duty or a handling fee. In the USA, import charges now apply to every parcel and you may be asked to pay them before delivery.

Can you get a jersey you don’t stock?

Email us the county and year. If we can source it, we’ll let you know, and the most requested jerseys go into the next drop.

Anything else? hello@retrogaa.ie. We reply within one working day.
